Material:
• cup toor dal
• cup masoor dal
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 cup chopped bottle gourd
• 1/2 cup chopped pumpkin
• 1/2 cup baby corn (cut into thin round pieces)
• 2 chopped green chilies
• 1 cup chopped tomatoes
• 1/2 cup chopped onions
• 2 Tbsp ginger-garlic pastels
• 2 tbsp grated coconut
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 1/2 cumin powder
• 1 tsp kasoori methi
• teaspoon chili powder
• 1/2 tsp garam masala
• Salt to taste
• 3 tablespoons oil
• 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
Process:
• First of all wash the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, add 3 cups of water, turmeric powder and salt to the lentils for cooking in a pressure cooker. When the dal is ready, take it off and let it cool down.
• Now put oil in a pan and heat it, add finely chopped onions and fry it. After that add tomato, ginger-garlic paste, grated coconut, coriander-cumin powder, red chili powder and garam masala and fry for 2-3 minutes.
• Now put pumpkin, gourd and baby corn and green chili in the same pan and cook a little, after the vegetables are cooked, add cooked lentils and 1 cup of water and boil it until it thickens well. When the dal is ready, put chopped coriander in it and eat and feed it with hot rice and roti.
